Aviation Gin 750ml Every bottle of Aviation Gin is handcrafted in small 100-case batches by a small, dedicated team of master distillers in Portland, Oregon. This one is special order, but this gin is just juniper and neutral grain spirit. I’ve tried it with three different tonics and also tried a little bit straight and can’t really find a way to make this gin acceptable to my palet. I mixed up a martini, the way I usually do, but this time the vermouth (Dolin) really leapt out at me!

The U.K gins are exceptional , but would be interested to taste the USA production . Another “B” comes to mind … bland.
I could perhaps give you a more direct American recommendation based on what’s likely available where you are. Perhaps if I added floral violet, it would have come through. It smells like the additive put in natural gas to give it an odor. I WILL NOT ever buy an American gin again. I don’t want to cast any shade, but I would challenge Reynolds any day of the week– there’s almost 3,000 gins in the world and I bet he hasn’t even tasted one hundreth of what is out there.
