I would hope that topps never gives us the late 80s early 90s numbers again. Looking forward to the longball leaders and instant impacts inserts. That would be nearly impossible without completely emptying your wallet. The overall parallel lineup is provided below including notations for those options specific to a certain format: Base variations include SP and SSP images, plus two late rookie additions to the base set. With Topps, you pretty much know what you’re paying for and what to expect. Any idea on the initial prize for the Home Run Heros cards? In the Bryant I got 2 blue & 1 black and for Jeter I got 7 blue & 4 black. Would like to see return of team photos & sub sets of league leaders & playoffs like they did in the 1970’s on back. While it is less obtrusive in comparison to the 2017 design that juts into the image, the nameplate does seem to draw more attention, which might not appeal to the purists. Something went wrong. Insert overkill and way too many variations. Yeh, I have to keep on saying this because you people don’t want to do something to correct the problem. Not lovin’ that. BTW, the purple parallel in my area is marketed as exclusive to Meijer stores, not Toys R Us. or rookie and current star possible future hof autos like Trout, Harper, Bellinger, ect.. considered garbage? Providing signed editions for many of the inserts previously noted, plus a few extra treats, 2018 Topps Series 1 Baseball has quite a few autograph sets. because…. To me, Salute is old news and it's disappointing to see it back again with nothing of substance added. Topps has single-handedly destroyed what little long-term value for every card made after around 2005 or so. So… Topps is NEVER going back to having borders? The design is not horrendous, but its on the south side of average for sure. Also annoyed with the social media handle and/or empty space rather than complete career stats. Worst dilution ever. A ribbon of color swirls around the name and team info, which tapers away as the pixels appear to float off the card. The one-of-one Cut Signature inserts also return. Finally, manufactured Topps Team MVP Medallions and MLB All-Star Game Logo Patch cards, which display the actual design used by specific players during their All-Star appearance, are only found in Hobby/Jumbo boxes. I get a case of jumbos. I sincerely hope that if anyone is reading this that works for Topps, that they will resume the THREE player League LeaderS card, instead of the single League LeadeR card that they wasted on us last year. I hope that they’ll have a checklist card or base of Albert Pujols with his 600 home run. Here are the top deals on jumbo boxes currently listed on eBay. Wish I knew they were going to do this before plunking down $$ for multiple packs containing duplicates. and retail boxes and have not pulled any. A few good hits but nothing that made me jump out of my seat. A waste of $60. Hoping the prize is something cool and worth while. Topps never issued the official odds for Acuna/Torres, but info from breakers indicates about one per case. I did like the parallels, though. That’s the main issue with this product – the quality of the card itself…or lack of. Pretty much the same old product line that Topps has been shelling out.
